Chicken Salad Sandwiches
A staple and one I grew up enjoying as a kid. Chicken Salad Sandwiches were a go to for my mom and now for me. Play dates, unexpected guest, tea party snacks and lunch.
One that all ages enjoy. Soft for those little toddlers but filling enough for those active growing kids.
Here’s the recipe for delicious chicken salad sandwiches, a spread that can be used in sandwiches, turned low carb friendly as lettuce wraps and even as a dip for veggies and chips!
Ingredients:
1 cup boiled Shredded Chicken
2 to 3 tbsp Sour Cream
2 to 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
Siracha to taste
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Fresh cracked Pepper
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
1 tbsp chopped Parsley or 1 tsp dry
Brioche Bread Slices (or any sliced bread)
Method:
Mix all the ingredients except the bread together. Taste to adjust.
Spread the mixture on bread slices and make sandwiches.
Cut into half or fourth pieces for little bites.
Enjoy!
**Veggies like Finely chopped bell peppers and green onions or finely grated cabbage and carrots may be added if desired.
**May be made even on croissants with lettuce and cheese if desired.
Stored in a sealed airtight container or mason jar and it’s good for a weeks worth of lunches! Hope you give them a try and enjoy it as much as we do!
